Keep in Touch Multimedia Scholarship

An anonymous alumni couple showed their loyalty to Cal Lutheran by making regular financial gifts soon after graduation. As they moved into their careers, that support continued. In 2001 they decided that they wanted their gifts to have a more lasting impact and help to ensure that Cal Lutheran had a strong future. They decided that a scholarship would accomplish these goals, but they were not sure what its focus would be.

Because they no longer lived in the area, technology played a large part in helping them “keep in touch” with the University. In recognition that technology will play an increasingly important role in communications in the future, they chose to create the very first endowed scholarship in Multimedia.
