Willis Family Scholarship in History

Richard and Karen Willis are deeply committed Christians, dedicating their lives to Christ-centered education that affects the whole person and provides focus and guidance for the rest of a student’s life. In their initial meeting with President Chris Kimball, they shared stories of how they had seen this lived out in the lives of students at Baylor University firsthand, and they were so pleased that their own daughter was building a firm faith foundation as a student at Cal Lutheran. This is their way of “planting seeds” of philanthropy in the hearts of their own children, and, hopefully, in each and every one of the current and future student recipients of the Willis Family Scholarship in history.
