Debate Scholarship

The Debate Scholarship serves to enhance the academic profile of Cal Lutheran and encourage politically active students to take part in diversifying the campus. Inspiring young adults to pursue knowledge in current events and respectful argumentation, the debate program will solicit enrollment from academically motivated and orally gifted students striving to make a positive change on campus and later in the world. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA, be enrolled full time, have one year or more of experience in a debate program, participate in a minimum of 4 intercollegiate tournaments, and demonstrate Christian faith.
